If you don’t access your account for 30 days after deactivate it, it will be permanently deleted. That means you can’t reactivate it after the 30-day window, and all your old tweets are gone.

Step 1: Go to the navigation menu icon, then into ‘Settings and Privacy.’

Step 2:Next, tap ‘Account’ and select ‘Deactivate your account.’

Step 3: You’ll be asked to read some information on deactivating and then click deactivate

Step 4: Enter your password to confirm your deactivation

Step 5: Tap ‘yes’ when prompted as final confirmation for deactivation.

How to Delete Twitter Account on Desktop

Step 1: First, open any browser and visit the Twitter official website, twitter.com.

Step 2: click on login by entering your user Id and password.

Step 3: click on Settings and privacy your profile icon.

Step 4: From the Account tab, click on Deactivate your account at the bottom of the page.
