Patna University is a public state university in Patna, Bihar, India. It was established on 1 October 1917 during the British Raj. It is the first university in Bihar and the seventh oldest university in the Indian subcontinent in the modern era. It offers different undergraduate and postgraduate degree level courses. The University has its own Press with limited infrastructure facility and is located in the campus. It has two mono typing machines besides other sophisticated equipment and instruments. Our University Press needs its own spacious building for expansion and modernization to cope with the ever expanding requirement of the University. How To Apply for Patna University Admission-

• Go to Patna University’s official website.
• Select ‘Apply Online’, then ‘New User/ Register Here’
• Pay the INR 670 application fee (which includes the quota and application processing fees) using a credit/ debit card, UPI, Wallet, or Net-Banking.
• Must be save all the details of admission form and fee challan paid and send it to the university by mail with required documents.

Eligibility Criteria for PU Admission:

Patna University UG Eligibility 

• For B.A, B.A (Hons.), BBA, BFA, B.Com (Hons.) and BSW courses, students must pass 10+2 from a recognized board with 45% marks in aggregate.
• For B.Sc and B.Sc (Hons.) courses, the eligibility criteria are to complete the intermediate level with 45% marks in aggregate with PCM subjects combination from a recognized board.
• For LLB, B.Lib.Sc candidates must pass graduation with honors and with 45% marks in aggregate respectively.
• To be eligible for a B.Ed course, applicants should pass Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate or Bachelor’s in Engineering or B.Tech with 55% marks or master’s degree in any stream.

For PG Course:

Patna University PG Selection Criteria

• To be selected for B.A, B.A (Hons.), B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.), BBA, BFA, B.Com (Hons.), and BSW courses, students need to appear in PUCET conducted by the university itself and must obtain qualified marks.
• For selection to B.Ed and LLB courses, students must secure a qualified score in BEET & BLET.

The question paper can have objective-type multiple alternative queries within the test.
The application completes the paper for a period of 1.5 hours.
